This gas powered screed rental comes with a 6′ aluminum screed board. With a 1′ overlap, a 12′ wide slab can be screeded in three passes, making it the perfect tool for small to mid size concrete pours. This screed vibrates wet concrete so that it settles to level. It also vibrates any bubbles to the surface, creating a stronger bond in the finished product. See it in action HERECAUTION: This tool must be cleaned thoroughly, immediately after use, so that the surface of the aluminum screed board (float) stays smooth. Failure to clean the screed board could result in a fee equivalent to the replacement cost of the screed board (around $200). We always try to repair before we replace, but if there is concrete bonded to the working surface of the screed board, removing it can result in deep scratches that render it ineffective.
